"If it weren’t for Lone Star, I never would have found out about Camp Quality Ohio — a nonprofit camp for kids with cancer. This year marks my 15th year volunteering with them. You can always count on a Lone Star brother to be there for you in times of need."
-Jeremy Neidert
"Lone Star has opened so many doors for me in a short amount of time. It has given me the chance to work alongside my friends, help continue long-standing traditions, and have fun along the way."
-Nate Adams *Lone Star President*
"Lone Star Fraternity is something truly special that sets it well apart from the rest of Greek life on campus. One of the defining features that highlights this is that no matter who you are, Lone Star welcomes its brothers all the same. This fraternity really shines in that it brings together people from many different walks of life — you don’t have to fit any kind of mold to become a part of it. The level of kinship you receive from those you meet in Lone Star, the vast philanthropic opportunities available to you, and the connections you make to accelerate your undergraduate and professional career are second to none. Most importantly, the friends and memories you make through being a Lone Star are something you could never trade for anything. My personal journey in college was made all the better because of joining Lone Star — it helped make my college experience that much more special."

"Joining Lone Star Fraternity can be a transformative experience that extends far beyond the typical college social scene. As a member of Lone Star, you’ll forge lifelong friendships with a diverse group of individuals who share your values and ambitions, creating a strong support network that will be there for you during and after college. Lone Star offers unique leadership opportunities, allowing you to grow personally and professionally through involvement in chapter governance, community service, and campus events. Additionally, being part of Lone Star Fraternity connects you to a broader alumni network — opening doors to career opportunities and mentorship that can be invaluable as you step into the professional world. In essence, joining Lone Star Fraternity not only enriches your college experience, but also lays a solid foundation for your future success."

"Every organization preaches “brotherhood,” but Lone Star actually lives up to it. How do I know? I started college at another school and began the initiation process for a student organization. During the process, I told them I couldn’t join because I planned to transfer back home to Akron — and they immediately told me not to join the group there, saying they were “the worst chapter in America.” I couldn’t believe they were talking about their own brothers from another campus that way. Since joining Lone Star, I’ve experienced nothing but love from every member — those who came before me and those who joined after. We truly are like a family, and I know I can always call on any of my brothers whenever I need them."
-Earl McDonald III
"Originally, I joined Lone Star because I started out commuting to school and thought being part of a fraternity would connect me more to campus and school outside of classes. Admittedly, my rationale was shallow. Socially, I felt Lone Star stood out from the other fraternities, and I decided to become a member. Over time, I've come to realize how I benefited from interacting with brothers who were older and had a diversity of experiences I could learn from. This continued to be true after I graduated. Subsequently, through the years, events and circumstances would bring me back to Lone Star. For the past few years, I've had the opportunity to be a member of the new house committee, and I am a better person for it — serving with brothers who are some of the most talented, dedicated, and humble men I've ever met. I'm proud to say I'm a Lone Star."
-Chris Burnham
"In 1970, a group of young men met for the first time. We had just pledged Lone Star Fraternity. These friendships have lasted over 55 years. We have shared happy times as well as sad times. We have been in each other's weddings and we have said fond farewells to those who have passed away. Joining Lone Star has proved to be one of the best experiences in my life and one of the best decisions I have ever made."
